Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 October 2026 · Operated by SRH Pte Ltd (UEN 201201879K), Singapore
- Covebuilder is software: a website, a business email address, Cove (your AI assistant) and tools for bookings, quotes and invoices.
- You own your content and your customers' information. We never hold your customers' money.
- The plan is US$20 a month and you can cancel at any time. Credits pay for creative work, and you always see the price before anything is charged.
- AI can make mistakes. Check what Cove makes before you publish or rely on it.
- Our responsibility to you is limited, and Singapore law and Singapore courts apply.
1. Who we are and these Terms
Covebuilder (“the Service”) is operated by SRH Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore (UEN 201201879K) (“we”, “us”). These Terms are a contract between you and us. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
If you use the Service for a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business, and “you” includes the business. You must be at least 18 years old.
The Service is for people who use it for a trade, business or profession, in any country. By signing up you confirm that you are using it for those purposes and not as a consumer.
2. The Service
Covebuilder is an AI business builder for small businesses around the world, operated from Singapore. Depending on your plan, it includes: a website at yourname.covebuilder.com (or your own domain); a business email address and inbox; a dashboard with tasks; Cove, an AI assistant; tools to create posts, pictures and videos; booking, ordering, quote and invoice tools; name cards and logos; and tools for sending updates to customers who agreed to hear from you.
Features change. We may add, change or remove features, and we will give reasonable notice of any material removal. The Service is still being developed, so some features may be limited or unavailable.
3. Your account
Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for your sign-in method (your Google account or your email) and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. One person or business should not run several accounts to avoid limits or fees. You may have several websites (“projects”) under one account.
4. Free plan, paid plan and billing
Free plan: we build your website and it is public for 14 days with a small Covebuilder badge, with limits such as the number of chat messages per day and the number of free starter sites per person. After 14 days the website is paused unless you subscribe. A paused website is not deleted straight away: we keep it for 60 days so you can come back and subscribe. After that we may delete it without further notice.
Tools Cove makes for your customers (for example a stamp card or an order form): if your plan ends or a payment is not made, we email you a warning on the first day and a final warning 5 days later, and pause the tool on day 7. A paused tool is not deleted: we keep it for 60 days after the pause, until the date stated in our email, and it comes back if you subscribe again. You can use Download everything at any time to take the tool's files and your data. After the 60 days we may delete the tool and its data, and we will email you before we do. Deleting your account removes your tools and their data as well.
Paid plan: the price is shown on our website and is currently US$20 per month, in US dollars. It renews every month until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment provider to charge your payment method each month. Prices and plan contents may change for future billing periods, and we will tell you before a change reaches you.
Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax. We invoice as an overseas supplier from SRH Pte Ltd in Singapore. You are responsible for any tax you owe in your own country on what you buy from us, including reverse-charge VAT or import GST where your law requires it, and you may give us your tax number so your invoice shows it. You pay us in full, without any deduction or withholding for taxes; if your law requires you to withhold, you add the amount so that we receive the full price. If the law requires us to collect tax from you, we will add it, show it separately and tell you before it applies.
Payments are processed by our payment provider (we may add or change providers). We do not see or store your full card details. We show your billing history for the last 12 months; older billing records, which we keep for our own legal purposes, are available only by a purchase request and at our discretion.
If a payment fails we may try again, and we may pause paid features until it is paid. If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer without first using the steps in the dashboard, we may suspend your account and recover our costs.
5. Credits
Credits pay for creative work and for redoing it: for example posts, pictures, videos, logos, name card artwork, and pages or features built from a plan you approve. The price in credits is always shown before you confirm, and nothing is charged until you press the confirm button. Chat, advice, drafts and plans are free.
Your plan includes 20 credits a month, which expire 2 months after they are granted. Credit packs you buy expire 12 months after purchase. Credits that expire soonest are used first.
If a job fails because of us or our suppliers (a fault, or no usable result), the credits are returned to you automatically. We do not refund credits spent on a result you simply do not like, but you can usually try again for the price shown.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not refunded when they expire or when you cancel, except where the law says otherwise. We may change the credit price of future actions at any time, and what you see on the confirm card is the price that applies.
6. Cancelling, refunds and what happens after
You can cancel at any time in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund part months or unused credits, except where the law requires it or a failed job is refunded under section 5.
If your subscription ends, paid features stop. Your business email address keeps working for 30 days and we remind you during that time; after that we release the address so it can be reused. Your website is paused and kept as described in section 4. Copy anything you need from your dashboard before your account ends, because we are not required to keep your content after the periods in these Terms. You can take your own domain with you at any time.
7. Your content, AI output and our licence
You own the content you give us: your words, pictures, logos, business details and customer records. You give us a licence to store, copy, process and display that content only as needed to run the Service for you (for example hosting your website, sending your emails, and making what you ask for) and to keep the Service safe and working.
We license AI output made for you (words, pictures, videos, logos, artwork) to you for your business use, so far as we are able to. AI can be wrong, can produce output similar to other people's, and can misspell words inside pictures. You must check everything before you publish or rely on it, and you are responsible for what you publish.
You must have the right to use anything you upload or ask us to use, and you must not ask Cove to copy another person's work, name, voice or likeness. We own the Service itself, including its software, design and brand, and these Terms give you no rights in them except to use the Service.
My materials: you can keep photos, clips, voice recordings and people (face photos) in My materials. Storing is free. You may add a person's face or a voice only if it is yours, or you have that person's written permission to use it, and you confirm this when you add it. We use these materials only to make posts, pictures and videos for your own business, never for other customers, and we do not use them to train AI models ourselves. Cove may send a picture, a short clip or a voice recording to our video and picture suppliers when you ask it to make something from them. Real faces inside AI-made video may be blocked by the video supplier and are not offered yet. You can delete any material, or a person, at any time and the files are deleted.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
8. Things Cove builds for you
Cove may suggest things to build for your business, such as a booking page, a services page or a time-slot booking engine. Cove asks you about your needs in a free chat, then shows a plan with exactly what will be built and the price in credits. Nothing is built or charged until you press the button to proceed. What Cove builds is for your own website and business. Small improvements after that are separate plans with their own price.
Things built with Cove depend on the information you gave. You are responsible for checking that they are right for your business, for example opening hours, prices and capacity.
9. Payments, invoices and tax on your sales
We provide software. We do not receive, hold or pay out your customers' money, and we are not a bank or a payment institution. You are paid straight to your own bank, e-wallet or payment provider account (for example Stripe or HitPay) under that provider's own terms. We charge no commission on your sales.
If you link your own Airwallex, Stripe or HitPay account, an invoice is marked as paid when that provider tells us the payment succeeded. If you use bank transfer, a QR code or other manual ways, the status is set by you. Check your own bank before you hand over goods or services. A receipt picture uploaded by a customer can be fake.
You choose whether and how much tax to show on your invoices (for example GST or SST). You are responsible for charging the right tax and for your own filings. The examples in the Service are only a starting point, and Cove does not give tax or legal advice.
Quotes, invoices, receipts and booking confirmations you create are your documents. We are not a party to your sales, and you are responsible to your customers.
10. Domains
Where we buy a domain for you, it is registered through our registrar partner at the price shown before you pay. The domain is yours, and you can move it to another provider subject to the registry's rules. Domains must be renewed to stay yours. If a renewal payment fails the domain may expire and be lost, and we are not responsible for that. You can connect a domain you already own at no extra charge on the paid plan.
11. Email and messages you send
Our tools can send emails and prepare WhatsApp or other messages to your customers. You must only contact people who agreed to hear from you or who are your existing customers, give them a way to stop, and follow the laws that apply to you, including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (including the Do Not Call rules), the Spam Control Act, and the data protection and anti-spam laws that apply in your own country. We may limit or stop sending that looks like spam or breaks these rules.
12. Your customers' personal data
When you put your customers' personal data into the Service (for example enquiries, bookings, orders and invoices), you are responsible for having the right to do so and for telling your customers how you use their data. We process that data only on your behalf and under your instructions, as your data intermediary (processor) under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, using the security measures described in our Privacy Policy. We use suppliers who may process data outside Singapore, under the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.
12A. Data processing terms for your customers' data
Where we process your customers' personal data for you, this section applies on top of section 12, including to data covered by the EU or UK GDPR or Swiss data protection law. You are the controller and we are your processor. We will: process the data only on your documented instructions (using the Service is an instruction); make sure our staff keep it confidential; apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy; use sub-processors (hosting, content delivery, database, email delivery, AI and payment suppliers) under written terms with equivalent protection, and tell you if we add one, so you can object by cancelling; help you answer requests from your customers, and tell you without undue delay if we find a personal data breach affecting their data; delete or return the data when your account ends (see section 6, and Download everything), unless the law requires us to keep it; and give you the information you reasonably need to check our compliance. For transfers out of the EU, UK or Switzerland, the standard contractual clauses approved for processors apply between you and us, and are incorporated here.
13. Acceptable use
You must not: use the Service for anything unlawful; send spam; publish content that is hateful, deceptive, adult, defamatory or that infringes someone's rights; impersonate others or post fake reviews; try to avoid credits, limits or payment; attack, overload or reverse-engineer the Service; or copy another person's website into yours. The import tool is only for your own website, with permission. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break this section.
14. Third-party services
The Service depends on suppliers such as our payment providers, Cloudflare, Vercel, Supabase, Resend, AI and image providers, and our domain registrar. Their outages, changes or terms are outside our control, and we are not liable for them. We do not control social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok or Xiaohongshu: you post to them yourself and follow their rules.
15. Records, legal holds, suspension and ending
To run, secure and support the Service, we keep limited records of your account, billing, credit usage and your messages to the in-product assistant, normally for up to 180 days. This includes a short, masked note of features you asked the assistant for that we do not offer yet, which we use only to decide what to build and keep under the same rule.
We may keep records for longer, and may suspend, restrict or remove access to your account, website, business email, content or credits, where we reasonably believe it is necessary because of: an actual or possible legal claim, dispute or investigation; a law, court order or request from a competent authority; suspected misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms; or to protect our rights, our systems or other people. We may do this without prior notice where the law allows, and we may keep the records until the matter is resolved and any limitation period has ended.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of revenue, profit, business or goodwill caused by a suspension, restriction or preservation of records made in good faith under this section. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may suspend, restrict or end your account or any part of the Service at any time and at our discretion, with or without notice, including for breach of these Terms, non-payment, abusive behaviour, repeated or unreasonable complaints, bad-faith payment disputes, risk to the Service or other users, or legal reasons. We may refuse service to anyone. If we end your paid plan for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of the month you have paid for, and that is the only remedy you have for our ending it. You may stop using the Service at any time.
16. Our responsibility
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranty, condition or promise of any kind other than those expressly stated in these Terms, including about accuracy, availability, fitness for a purpose, results, security or non-infringement. AI output in particular may be wrong, and you use it entirely at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you, however the loss arises (including negligence), for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, savings, business, customers, goodwill, reputation or data, even if we were told it might happen.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the one month before the event that gave rise to the claim, and is nil if you are on the free plan. Any claim must be brought within 12 months of the event that gave rise to it, or it is barred.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
17. Support
Support is provided through the FAQ and through Cove inside the dashboard. We are not obliged to answer individual messages, and we may decline to respond to repeated, abusive or unreasonable contact.
18. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your content, your website, your messages to customers, your sales and your tax. You agree to defend and compensate us, our directors, staff and suppliers for all claims, losses, costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) and penalties that arise from your breach of these Terms, from your content, from your dealings with your customers, or from how you use the Service.
19. Law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from the Service are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, and you submit to them. You may bring claims only in your own name and not as part of any class, group or representative action, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here stops us from asking any court, anywhere, for urgent relief or to enforce our rights.
19A. Where you live: EU, UK, Switzerland and other countries
Singapore law governs these Terms, but nothing here removes rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived by contract. Websites that you publish with the Service must follow the laws that apply to you, for example showing who runs the website (an Impressum in Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and giving a privacy notice. Cove drafts these pages from the details you give us as a starting point only; they are not legal advice, and you are responsible for checking that they are right for your business.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will tell you about material changes by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect; if you keep using the Service after that date you accept the changed Terms.
21. General
These Terms, with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business. A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of them. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may give you notice by email at the address on your account or in the dashboard. Notices to us must be in writing and sent to our registered office in Singapore.
